The Czech Republic’s Krystyna Pyszková won the title of Miss World 2024 in a glamorous competition that took place in India on March 9, 2024.
Out of 112 competitors, Yasmina Zaytoun from Lebanon finished as the first runner-up in the tournament held in Mumbai, the financial and entertainment center of India.
“Winning the Miss World title is an incredible honor. Pyszkova expressed her profound gratitude for the opportunity to represent her nation and the principles of “beauty with a purpose” on a worldwide stage.
Miss World 2024
Three runners-up, Yasmina Zeytoun of Lebanon, Aché Abrahams of Trinidad and Tobago, and Lesego Chombo of Botswana, were defeated by Pyszková. (These ladies are referred to as the pageant’s “continental victors,” together with Jessica Gagen of England.)

Following the crown transfer from the current Miss World, Karoline Bielawska of Poland, Pyszková waved to the sizable audience at the Jio World Convention Center and gave a few embraces to some of the other competitors.
Krystyna emphasized her dedication to her purposeful project and its importance as a lifelong mission. She expressed optimism that the Miss World platform would allow her to raise awareness and provide assistance to many underprivileged children.
Stars from the entertainment industry, such as Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui, actress Rubina Dilaik, and Reliance Foundation Chairperson Nita Mukesh Ambani, witnessed the momentous occasion as Krystyna was crowned Miss World 2022 by Polish Miss Karolina Bielawska.
Miss India Competition for the First Time in India
The beauty competition returned to India for the first time in 28 years.
Sini Shetty of India was eliminated despite reaching the final eight. Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017) are the six Indian women who have won the title.
