The Friendship Peak trek begins from Solang, a valley that is a two- or three-hour drive from Manali, situated at a height of 2,050 meters. From Solang, one should trek tough till Bakarthach (3050 m), in the wake of going through the rich green valley and thick timberland. Further, the trek will proceed to the base camps-I and II of the Friendship Crest. All the activity begins on the trail from base camp II as trekking should move over the thick bed of snow and takes after to the summit. From that point onward, the voyage takes a steady trek downhill toward Bakarthach, continues down to Solang, and finishes at Manali.

Closest Airport:
Bhuntar Airport or Kullu Manali Airport, or Kullu Airport is the closest air terminal, which is around 10 km from South Kullu. That being said, because of the terrible permeability, flights from Bhuntar Airport regularly get canceled. In such cases, travelers can go to the second-nearest airport, Chandigarh International Airport.

Closest Railway Station:
Joginder Nagar Railway Station is the closest railroad station, around 166 km from Manali. Other helpful railroad stations are Chandigarh and Pathankot.
By Road:
